Starts and finishes at Hitsujiyama Park in Chichibu, Saitama, and loops out via the Kokusai fishing ground and the Kenmin-no-mori prefectural forest. About 60% of the course is trail, the rest road. It was the short race of an event held in the Okumusashi mountains across Chichibu, Yokoze and Hanno.
The course tops out at 957 m (low point 241 m). The main climb comes mid-race: 653 m around 11–17 km. About 50% of the distance is gentle (under 5% grade). The median finish was about 5 h.
