A short winter trail race from a temple venue at Chonenji in Hanno, Saitama, through the surrounding hills. Mostly on trail, it passes the hilltop hamlet of Yugate, crosses Route 299 and returns via an aid station at a water facility.
The course tops out at 395 m (low point 112 m). Only about 30% is gentle (under 5% grade); most of it is climbing or descending. In 2025, 99% of starters finished. The median finish was about 2 h.
