A mountain race over nine peaks in the Yeongnam Alps of Ulju County, Ulsan, in southeastern South Korea. It follows a ridge of summits over 1,000 m high in autumn, when the forests turn colour. It is the event's longest race.
The course tops out at 1,230 m (low point 152 m). There are 4 big climbs: 829 m around 0–6 km; 856 m around 21–30 km; 973 m around 43–52 km; 939 m around 102–118 km. The longest descent drops 1,022 m around 58 km at about 17% on average. Only about 30% is gentle (under 5% grade); most of it is climbing or descending. The median finish was about 34 h, through 2 nights.
