UTMB Mont-Blanc OCC 2026

Starts in Orsières in Switzerland's Val d'Entremont and runs via Champex-Lac and Trient to the Col de Balme on the French-Swiss border, with Tête de Balme as the high point. It drops back into Switzerland, re-enters France at Vallorcine and climbs to the Col des Posettes before following the northern balcony trails of the valley to Chamonix. It is the 50K final of the UTMB World Series.
The course tops out at 2,311 m (low point 893 m). There are 4 big climbs: 598 m around 0–9 km; 714 m around 12–18 km; 1,015 m around 24–35 km; 322 m around 40–43 km. About 40% of the distance is gentle (under 5% grade). In 2026, 80% of starters finished. The median finish was about 11 h.
