Starts and finishes on Tonoshima island in Uji Park, Kyoto, and runs laps of a roughly 16km marked loop via Mt. Daikichi, Kominami Shrine and the Kisenyama Dam. The 80km race is 5 laps with an evening start, so most of it is run through the night: a step toward the 100-mile distance.
