Mt.FUJI 100 ASUMI40k 2027
A shortened version of KAI70k introduced in 2025. From Fujiyoshida it crosses Oshikusayama, traverses the flanks below Shakushiyama to join the main course, refuels at the Lake Asumi aid station, then climbs Shimoyama and Tenjoyama back to the GX Stadium. Named after the Asumi district.
The course tops out at 1,321 m (low point 683 m). There are 2 big climbs: 300 m around 9–12 km; 637 m around 24–28 km. About 40% of the distance is gentle (under 5% grade). In 2026, 98% of starters finished. The median finish was about 6 h.
