The 17 km category starts and finishes at the Green Valley Kamuro ski area. It runs out along the Kamasawa Tochinoki forest road to the Kamasawa aid station and returns to the ski area via the Kamasawa Shitamuki forest road. The route is 12 km of forest road and 5 km of road, with about 650 m of climbing.
The course tops out at 492 m (low point 266 m). About 30% of the distance is gentle (under 5% grade). In 2025, 100% of starters finished. The median finish was about 2 h.
