Starting and finishing at the Kiwa B&G Marine Center in Kumano, Mie, this middle course runs through the hill country of the Kumano Kodo, passing the Akagi Castle ruins and Ogawaguchi. It offers Kumano's nature and historic trails over a shorter distance than the long course.
