The 25 km of Okushinano 100, starting and finishing at the Romance no Kamisama ski area in Kijimadaira, Nagano. It runs on old routes revived and maintained by locals, through Okushinano's forests and the farmland of Kijimadaira from early morning.
The course tops out at 1,350 m (low point 525 m). The main climb comes mid-race: 738 m around 16–22 km. The longest descent drops 744 m around 22 km at about 22% on average. Only about 30% is gentle (under 5% grade); most of it is climbing or descending. In 2026, 98% of starters finished. The median finish was about 5 h.
