A UTMB World Series race in Betong, Yala Province, Thailand's southernmost district near the Malaysian border. It starts in the evening at the Betong Mongkollit Tunnel and passes the Piyamit Tunnel, a former communist stronghold, and sea-of-mist viewpoints at Jaroh Ganga and Kapae Hulu before finishing at the town clock tower.
The course tops out at 1,161 m (low point 272 m). There are 4 big climbs: 572 m around 0–18 km; 681 m around 25–36 km; 587 m around 39–46 km; 508 m around 60–66 km. The longest descent drops 698 m around 66 km at about 14% on average. About 40% of the distance is gentle (under 5% grade). In 2026, 57% of starters finished — a tough one.
