A 100-miler in southern Shanxi, where the Loess Plateau meets the Taiyue Mountains. It passes autumn-red valleys and terraced fields, the thousand-year-old Dongyue Temple, Anfeng Ancient Town and a winery, then descends to finish at Zhonghe Square on Mount Yun.
The course tops out at 1,655 m (low point 652 m). There are 2 big climbs: 1,002 m around 0–13 km; 658 m around 68–82 km. About 50% of the distance is gentle (under 5% grade). In 2025, 87% of starters finished. The median finish was about 38 h, through 2 nights.
