A UTMB World Series race through the northern mountains of Xiamen, a coastal city in southeast China. It links the historic De'an Fortress, the panoramic summit of Yunding Mountain, the green surroundings of Xidong Reservoir and the steep climb of Beichen Mountain, in a city where mountains, sea and town sit close together.
The course tops out at 1,148 m (low point 6 m). There are 3 big climbs: 586 m around 0–14 km; 960 m around 27–37 km; 586 m around 59–63 km. The longest descent drops 1,046 m around 37 km at about 13% on average. About 40% of the distance is gentle (under 5% grade). In 2026, 89% of starters finished.
