Set in the Asan Mountains on the Kagawa–Tokushima border, it leaves Kotonami Mirai-kan in Manno at dawn for one lap of about 40km, mixing soft, well-kept trail with punishing climbs and a sunrise on the ridge. Runners must carry a map app for navigation.
