One lap of the KAMI 100 loop from the Hachikita Onsen 'Tojino Sato' bathhouse in Kami, Hyogo: up Mt. Hachibuse, across the Mikata highland and Mt. Torogawa, and back via the Towano highland. Forest roads, trail and pavement alternate, and the hot spring is right at the finish.
The course tops out at 1,220 m (low point 510 m). There are 3 big climbs: 490 m around 0–5 km; 362 m around 6–8 km; 324 m around 14–19 km. Only about 30% is gentle (under 5% grade); most of it is climbing or descending. In 2025, 95% of starters finished. The median finish was about 6 h.
