A 23 km category added for the third edition in 2026, starting and finishing at Ohama Seaside Park in Sumoto on Awaji Island, Hyogo. It passes the Mt. Kashiwara aid station and takes in the hills of Sumoto, home to Sumoto Castle, and views of the sea.
The course tops out at 563 m (low point 1 m). The main climb comes mid-race: 470 m around 8–13 km. About 40% of the distance is gentle (under 5% grade).
