SWAN AND WOLF 70K 2026
Also known as: swan-wolf
A round course that leaves KM Biologics RUNNEST in Mizukami, Kumamoto, before dawn, passes Fudono on the Miyazaki side and crosses Shiratoriyama and Yamainugiri in the Kyushu Sekiryo mountains before returning to the start. The name comes from Mt. Shiratori ("swan") and yamainu, an old name for the Japanese wolf. 2026 is the first edition.
The course tops out at 1,625 m (low point 319 m). There are 3 big climbs: 589 m around 0–9 km; 1,263 m around 12–28 km; 563 m around 58–61 km. Only about 20% is gentle (under 5% grade); most of it is climbing or descending.

The app adds predictions from your training log (Strava), race-day pacing and more. Free, no sign-up.
